A must for art lovers is the Museum Barberini in Potsdam.
The IT-pioneer and arts collector Hasso Plattner has reconstructed the Palais Barberini (1771/72) which was destroyed during World War II for 70 million Euro. Now it serves as the background for temporary exhibitions at the highest level such as e.g. Picasso, van Gogh or Monet. Guided tours are offered on request.
